2014 NFL DIVISIONAL ROUND PREDICTIONS

Wild Card Record: 3-1 (.750)

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots

Breakdown: If there's one team that gives the Patriots fits, it's the Ravens. These teams have met in the playoffs three times, and the Ravens won twice. So the Ravens are as equipped as any team to go into the Patriots' house and come away with a win. I think that'll continue today.

Pick: Baltimore

Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks

Breakdown: The Panthers will be without Star Lotulelei, who's out for the rest of the playoffs with a broken foot. That's going to make things hard for the Panthers, who need as much help as they can get. The way the Seahawks play at home, combined with how hobbled the Panthers are, and I don't see this ending well for the Panthers.

Pick: Seattle

Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers

Breakdown: This is the first time since after the 1967 season (a.k.a. the Ice Bowl) that the Cowboys have played a playoff game in Green Bay. And it's a dandy; the Cowboys went 8-0 on the road this year, while the Packers went 8-0 in Lambeau. Something has to give. As dominant as the Cowboys were on the road, the Packers were scary good at home, which I think will be the difference. The fact that the temperature will be Ice Bowl-like will also help the Packers.

Pick: Green Bay

Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos

Breakdown: On paper, the Broncos are a much better team than the Colts; the defense was one of the best in the NFL and of course, they have Peyton Manning. Plus, the Broncos are at home. So an easy mile-high win for them, right?

The Broncos haven't looked like the Broncos in the last few weeks; I don't know if Peyton Manning is hurt or if age has finally caught up with him, but he's not looked like himself either. The Colts, while not spectacular or even great, have Andrew Luck, who is playing out of his mind right now.

I think this will be Andrew Luck's coming out party as far as dominance against "elite" opponents in the playoffs goes. And the Colts will punch an unlikely conference championship ticket.

Pick: Indy
